Privacy Policy

Intervues (“we,” “us”) operates intervues.club and the candidates app at candidates.intervues.club — a 30-minute voice AI interview built from your résumé, GitHub, and pasted job description, plus a cited preparation report grounded in your knowledge graph.

1. What we collect

Account and profile. Email address, name if you provide it, and settings needed to run your account.

Knowledge graph inputs. Résumé files or pasted text, GitHub username or links, job descriptions you paste, and derived facts we extract to personalise questions (skills, projects, employers, and similar metadata).

Interview sessions. When you run a practice interview, we process voice audio, transcripts, anything you type in a live editor or whiteboard, session timestamps, scores, and the long-form report. Technical logs help us operate and debug the service.

Hiring-side integrity signals. When enabled by an organisation running structured screening, we may process presence or eye-tracking signals during high-stakes screens. Candidates are told what is monitored before they begin. Integrity flags are shared with the hiring team only — not as a public label on you.

Scheduling. If you book a demo via Calendly, Calendly processes your booking under their policy. We receive the information you provide for the meeting.

2. How we use data

• To build and update your knowledge graph and run personalised mock interviews
• To produce your cited preparation report and any hiring fit reports for clients
• To improve reliability, safety, and accent calibration — on your data only, not by selling it
• To comply with law and respond to lawful requests

We do not sell your practice. We do not share your sessions with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated model trainers. We do not train third-party models on your voice or transcripts without a clear, separate purpose you agree to.

3. Storage & processors

Data is stored on infrastructure we control. Voice and session artefacts may pass through subprocessors required to run speech recognition, language models, and report generation. We use service providers under contractual confidentiality and data-processing terms appropriate to the regions we serve.

4. Retention & deletion

You may delete individual sessions or your history from within the product when that control is available, or by writing to admin@intervues.club. When you delete, we remove associated recordings, transcripts, and reports from active systems within a reasonable period, subject to backup rotation and legal hold requirements. Unused interview credits expire six months after they are granted or purchased, as described in the product and our Terms.

5. Candidate rights (hiring mode)

If you sit a structured screen arranged by an employer or agency, that organisation is the primary controller for hiring decisions. Intervues processes session data to deliver the interview and fit report on their instructions. You may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data under applicable law — contact us and we will coordinate with the hiring organisation where required.

6. International transfers

We may process data in India and other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege internal access. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we work to protect your data proportionate to its sensitivity.

8. Children

Intervues is only for people aged 18 and over. We ask you to confirm this when you join and do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If we learn that a user is under 18 we delete the account. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to the Grievance Officer below and we will delete it.

8A. Your rights under Indian law

Intervues is operated by Ayoush Chourasia in India and is a data fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You may ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or erased, withdraw any consent you gave (which does not undo processing done before), and name a person to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to. Where a control exists in the product, use it; otherwise write to the Grievance Officer. We acknowledge within 7 days and resolve within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our answer you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

If a breach affects your personal data we will tell you directly, without undue delay, what happened and what you can do, and we will notify the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

8B. Community, mentors, partners and advertisers

The community app (community.intervues.club) and the mentors app (mentor.intervues.club) have their own, more detailed privacy policies under Legal in each app; they cover profiles, chat, the Board, Compete, projects and advertiser offers. Companies, agencies and advertisers who use the partners portal give us a contact name, work email, organisation details and payment references; we use these to run the account, deliver what was bought, invoice and reply, and share nothing beyond that. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments; we never see card or UPI details. Advertisers receive a member's details only when that member ticks the consent box on the offer, and must delete them when the member withdraws.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Launch-month sign-up currently includes 5 welcome credits with no card required; if that offer changes, we will update this page and in-product messaging.

10. Screening interviews

Some interviews on Intervues are structured screens run for a hiring client, taken through a private link and a personal access code (“screening interviews”). This section describes what we collect during a screening interview, in addition to section 1 above.

What we collect. A transcript of your spoken answers with timestamps; a still image from your webcam every 2–4 minutes during the session; browser activity signals, including tab switches, exits from full-screen mode, and blocked key presses or paste attempts (we log that a key was pressed or a paste was blocked, never the key value or the pasted content); and, if a code editor or whiteboard panel opens during a question, the content you write there. We do not record or keep audio or video.

Why we collect it. To run the interview, score your answers, and produce an assessment report — including an integrity timeline — for the hiring team.

Who we share it with. Your report, including the integrity timeline, is shared with the hiring company for that role. It is never shown to you. We share your report with recruitment agencies only if you separately opted in during consent. Pseudonymised transcript and session logs are used to improve our interview engine only if you opted into research during consent.

Retention. Webcam stills are kept for 30 days. Transcripts and reports are kept for 12 months. If you opted into research, pseudonymised research logs are additionally held in cloud storage for 2 days.

Your rights. You can ask to access, correct, or delete your screening data, or withdraw consent, by writing to admin@intervues.club. We act on verified requests subject to any retention we are required to keep for legal reasons.
